New Earth, New Heavens, New Jerusalem

Isaiah 65:17,18 - "For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered nor come to mind. But be glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy."

Isaiah 66:22 - "For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

Matthew 24:35 - "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."

John 14:2, 3 - "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

Hebrews 1:10, 11 - "They [earth and heavens: v.10] shall perish… [v.11]"

Other Relevant Scriptures

Ecclesiastes 1:4 - (*Sometimes used to challenge those Scriptures above.) "One generation passes away, and another comes: but the earth abides for ever." [This is NEW earth.]

Psalm 104:5 - "Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed forever." *These actually agree with the long list above because: "for ever" (#5769, 5956, 5331, 5703: Thayer's Greek/English Lexicon) declares that "for ever" can mean "peremptory terminus"; "compulsory end". Examples include Deuteronomy 15:17: "Thou shalt take an awl, and thrust it through his [a servant's] ear unto the door, and he shall be thy servant "forever" ;  I Chronicles 25:13: "Aaron was separated, that he should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons "for ever", to burn incense before the LORD, to minister unto Him and to bless in His name "for ever". [These "for evers" et al  were canceled/ended/terminated in the New Testament, of course: cf.: Heb.7:12,18; etc.]

Isaiah 11:6-9 - "wolf shall dwell with the lamb…calf/lion…and a little child shall lead them." (Used for "millennium"… but obviously refers to the promised eternal New Earth, and not a literal "1000" years on this doomed old earth.) [II Pet.3:8 says literal 1000 yrs. is ignorant!]

God's warnings not to change Scripture (Deut..4:2; Rev. 22:18) have been ignored on many subjects, most would agree. This practice has opened the door for Satan's doctrine-twisting specialists (I Tim. 4:1) to establish a smorgasbord of false teachings in the churches. There is no doubt that NEW earth, NEW Heavens and NEW Jerusalem is what the Bible teaches!

Several other false teachings in the churches are revealed when the Biblical New Earth teaching is recognized.  If you think of any false teachings that are exposed by the  Biblical New Earth Truth, copy this page and list those teachings on the back of this paper for discussion:

When all are agreed about what the Bible teaches on Subject #1…it's time for Subject #2.
